The way you tell your families story will echo for generations

Dream it

    Dream it.

It all begins with a dream.

Maybe you’ve imagined a timeless portrait of your children hanging proudly in your home. Maybe you want to capture their spirit at this age before it slips away. Or maybe you’re searching for a truly meaningful gift that will be treasured for generations.

Whatever the reason, a hand-painted portrait tells your family’s story in a way no snapshot ever could. It’s art, memory, and love — all in one frame.

    The Process

Commissioning a portrait can feel overwhelming, but I make it simple — in partnership with Mckay Williamson, the renowned art gallery and portrait specialists. Together, we combine fine art expertise with beautiful photography to create something timeless.

    Photographing for Portraiture

I’ll begin by creating a set of professional photographs designed specifically as references for your painting. These are carefully composed to capture personality, light, and detail — giving the artist everything they need to produce a portrait of lasting beauty.

    Choosing Your Artist

Once your photographs are complete, I’ll work with Mckay Williamson to present a curated selection of portrait artists whose styles best reflect your vision. Whether you’re drawn to classical realism, contemporary impressionism, or a modern aesthetic, you’ll be able to choose your artist with confidence.

    Commissioning the Artwork

Together, we’ll refine the brief for your chosen artist so they can begin work. I’ll remain involved throughout the process, ensuring the collaboration between photography and painting is seamless from first sitting to final piece.

The result: a timeless portrait — crafted by a skilled artist, guided by expert photography, and brought to life through the collaboration between you, myself, and Mckay Williamson.

    A Family Heirloom for Generations

A painted portrait is more than art — it’s a legacy. Long after children have grown and moments have passed, a portrait remains as a record of love, character, and belonging. Unlike photographs that fade into hard drives or albums, a painting lives on the wall, admired every day and passed down through the family.

For generations to come, it becomes a treasured heirloom — a piece that tells your story and connects your loved ones across time.
